PURPOSE: To make the production, specially, mass production of well-known flow rate adjuster possible by eliminating the need of adjusting work which requires much labor, a long time, and a high cost at the time of manufacturing the adjuster. CONSTITUTION: The flow rate adjuster 1 has an adjustment core 3 carrying a control groove 8 on its external surface and control members 4 formed out of an elastomer in annular bodies are arranged at intervals around the core 3. The members 4 are supported by an annular shoulder 5 in the flowing direction of a fluid and contract in nearly the radial direction in accordance with the pressure governing the flowing-in and flowing-out sides or the pressure difference between both sides. The contraction of the members 4 affects the cross section of the flow of the fluid.
