PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of the beat noises by multiple reflections as far as possible. CONSTITUTION:The optoelectric conversion element carrier 20 is constituted by forming wiring patterns 22, 23 on a ceramic member 21 having nearly a square columnar shape and fixing and mounting a optoelectric conversion element 24 to a part on the one wiring pattern 22. The cathode of this optoelectric conversion element 24 is connected with a bonding wire 25 to the wiring pattern 23. The surface of the ceramic member 21 mounted with the optoelectric conversion element 24 is so formed as to have a prescribed angle of inclination with the optical axis direction. Further, a planar metallic member 26 sized larger than the size of the ceramic member 21 is fixed to the base of the ceramic member 21 by brazing means.
