FACILITY FAULT DIAGNOSTIC METHOD

PURPOSE:To easily detect the cause of trouble occurrence irrelevantly to the representation form of a sequence program. CONSTITUTION:A comparing means 7 decides that a fault occurs to facilities when the elapsed time from the start of one-cycle operation of the facilities in actual operation exceeds a reference time set in a normal operation time storage means 5. A next-step search means 10 extracts an output for next operation by collating the output of last normal operation in a cycle wherein the fault occurs with the sequence program. A cause condition search means 11 extracts a condition which is not satisfied among input conditions for the operation of the extracted output. Further, the equipment name corresponding to the condition is displayed on a display means 4 according to a condition equipment correspondence table.
