The invention relates to a device capable of taking charge of automatic monitoring of patients, with the difference, compared with some similar devices already in existence, that the latter are joined to the patient in order to measure his blood pressure, his temperature, the oxygenation, etc. by multiple cables and tubes, practically restricting him to bed, whilst the present invention provides a device in the form of a wristwatch or an armband containing the sensors, the electronic data-processing circuits and a radio microtransmitter, sending the data from the patient to a receiver station. The latter compares the information it receives with the limits to be tolerated, established by the doctor and stored by an individual magnetic card, and triggers the alarm in the event that these limits are exceeded by deterioration in the condition of the patient; using this device, the patient retains complete freedom of movement. |
