PURPOSE: To provide a fuel cell stack in which a complete interior manifolding is constituted. CONSTITUTION: A cathode 27 is installed as a gap from a separator plate 40 and composes a cathode chamber communicated with an oxidant manifold hole 25 and illustrated as an arrow 39. An electrolyte 20 and a separator plate 40 are extended to the outer rim of a cell and compose a peripheral wet seal part 23 forming a peripheral wet seal between the electrolyte and the separator plate to seal fluid. A fuel manifold wet seal part 45 and an oxidant wet seal part 46 compose a manifold sealing by the electrolyte/separator plate wet seal and the fluid is preferably guided to an anode or cathode chamber on the opposite side to the separator plate 40.
