<p>PURPOSE:To provide the structure of the coordinate input device which can prolong the service life of a power source even in the case of an input pen using a miniaturized battery. CONSTITUTION:A control circuit 14, driving circuit (a) and power source part 16 are built in the input pen to input coordinates, and a vibrator 17 is driven by the driving circuit. The control circuit 14, driving circuit and vibrator 17 are operated while receiving power feeding from the power source part 17, and the feeding operation is controlled by a switch 18. The ON/OFF of the switch 18 is controlled corresponding to the input pen operations of a user. For example, it is controlled corresponding to the result of detecting the state of housing the input pen to the housing part of the device as the pen pressure detected result of the input pen or while being interlocked with a knock mechanism to house/protrude the tip of the pen.</p> |
