<p>PURPOSE:To contrive a miniaturization of a thermoelement provided in the interior of an optical semiconductor module for exercising a temperature control in the interior. CONSTITUTION:In an optical semiconductor module 10, which is provided with an LD element (a laser diode) 17 provided in a case 11, a lens 23 to make light, which is emitted by this element 17, emit toward the outside of the case 11, a PD element (a photodiode) 16, which is provided at the opposite position to the arrangement position of the lens 23 to the element 17 and photodetects the light emitted by the element 17, and a thermoelement 19 provided for exercising a temperature control in the case 11, the element 16 is provided at a position separated from the thermoelement 19.</p> |
