PURPOSE:To generate a new different music signal and to compress music information by providing a multiple-music recognition part as a music recognition parts, scale and a musical instrument information conversion part as an information conversion part, and a music signal generation part. CONSTITUTION:This music processing system is equipped with the music recognition part 2 which recognizes musical instrument and scale information from a music signal of plural musical instruments, the information conversion part 3 which converts the musical instrument and scale information recognized by the music recognition part 2, and the music signal generation part 4 which generates a music signal according to the musical instrument and scale information converted by the information conversion part 3. The multiple musical sound recognition part 2 analyzes the music signal S(t) as a time-series signal of sounds played on the musical instruments to recognizes the scales of the respective musical instruments and the scale and musical instrument information conversion part 3 changes the parts of the musical instruments or generate the new music signal S'(t) different from the input music signal S(t) by using the scale information. Further, the amount of the information can be compressed by, for example, duplication in the conversion of the scales and musical instrument by the scale and musical instrument conversion part 3. |
