<p>PURPOSE:To provide the coordinate input device with high accuracy. CONSTITUTION:When vibrations are applied to a vibration transmitting board 8 by a vibrating pen 3, they are transmitted through the transmitting board 8 and detected by vibration sensors 6a-6d. The detected vibrations are processed by a signal waveform detection circuit 9, a signal tg of group delay time is inputted to an arithmetic control circuit 1, and a phase signal is inputted to a frequency judging circuit 10. The frequency judging circuit 10 discriminates the vibration component of a prescribed frequency from the inputted phase signal and concerning the component, a signal tp of phase delay time is inputted to the arithmetic control circuit 1. Based on the signals tg and tp, the arithmetic control circuit 1 calculates a distance from the positions of the respective sensors 6a-6d to that of the vibrating pen 3 and from that calculated distance, the position of the vibrating pen 3 on the vibration transmitting board 8 as a coordinate input plane is calculated and outputted.</p> |
