<p>PURPOSE:To realize the frame memory control system of a moving image decoder capable of effectively utilizing all picture data by providing buffer memories for the writing and reading of the decoding processing of picture data and controlling them by a control part, respectively and separately. l CONSTITUTION:In a moving image decoder 1, memory banks M1 to Mn writing plural picture data are provided on a frame memory 40 and a memory bank list 71 writing the use state of the memory banks M1 to Mn is provided on a control part 70. After picture data inputted from a transmission line is decoded to the original picture data by a variable length encoding and decoding processing part 20 and a difference data decoding processing part 30, the empty search of the memory banks M1 to Mn is performed by a memory bank list 71. As for the area in use, a flag showing in use is set and writing is performed for a memory bank Mi which is not in use.</p> |
