PURPOSE:To eliminate an erroneous detection of a pattern caused by a noise component generated in the part of an area in which data does not exist by outputting a pattern detecting signal to only an area in which it is decided that a data signal and a clock are reproduced by a demodulator, from the data signal and the clock signal which are inputted. CONSTITUTION:A synchronizing code detector is provided with a synchronizing code generating part 1 for generating a synchronizing code for comparing with an input data signal, a pattern comparing part 2 for comparing the synchronizing code outputting from the synchronizing code generating part 1 and a pattern of a data signal inputted from a demodulator of the outside and outputting pattern comparison in formation, and a correlation detecting part 3 for inputting the pattern comparison information and a clock signal inputted from the demodulator and executing a correlation decision, and outputting a synchronizing pattern detecting signal. Also, this synchronizing code detector is provided with a detection area deciding part 4 for deciding an area for detecting the synchronizing code by a carrier wave reproducing signal inputted from the demodulator of the outside, and a detection area signal outputted from the detection area deciding part 4 is inputted to the correlation detecting part 3 and a correlation detection limited to only the designated area is executed. |
