PURPOSE:To constitute the system so that light receiving power of each wave length subjected to wavelength multiplexing in a receiving side can be contained within an allowable range, with regard to the wavelength multiplex transmission system for transmitting a signal of at least two wavelengths or more by wavelength multiplexing to an optical repeating transmission line (optical amplifying transmission line) in which an optical direct amplifier is used for a repeater.
