PURPOSE:To prevent the influence on a deflecting prism with the deformation of a carriage base made of a resin by adhering and fixing one plane of the deflecting prism exclusive of its edge parts to this above-mentioned carriage base. CONSTITUTION:The deflecting prism 2 is adhered to the carriage base 1 made of the resin to be mounted with an optical head. The surface 3 to be adhered with the deflecting prism of the carriage base 1 is so formed that the rear surface of the prism 2 exclusive of the edge parts 2a of the prism 2 comes into contact with this surface. The prism 2 is brought into pressurized contact with the surface 3 to be adhered at the time of adhesion, by which the angles around the x axis and y axis of the prism 2 and the position in the z-axis direction are determined. The angle around the x axis and the positions of the x- and y-axis directions are determined by using a jig 4 having a z-y plane and a z-x plane. The prism is adhered by using a UV curing type adhesive in this state and, thereafter, the jig 4 is removed. As a result, the influence of the distortion, warpage, etc., on the base 1 are hardly conveyed to the prism 2 even if such distortion, etc., are generated by a temp. change, etc. |
