PURPOSE:To make it possible to provide information, by which a diver can dive with a sence of security by indicating the diving depth and the maximum diving value at the same time in a watch having a bathometer (pointer-type display apparatus). CONSTITUTION:A specified function-mode switching button is depressed, and a water depth mode is specified. The CPU 20 a of a microcomputer part 20 receives water depth information Ps, which is obtained by processing the sensor signal from a water pressure sensor 21 with an amplifying and A/D converting circuit 22, and computes water-depth-pointer operating pulses Psd. When the water depth value is larger than 1m, the pulse number Psd is outputted into a motor driving circuit 36 so as to drive a motor 26. The water depth is indicated with a depth pointer 7 of a water-depth indicator 31. A ROM 20c judges whether the water depth value is larger than the maximum value stored in a RAM 20b or not by comparison. When the depth value is large, the present water depth value is stored as the maximum value. The CPU 20a outputs the maximum-depth-pointer operating pulses Pmx to a motor driving circuit 37 so as to drive a motor 27. The maximum depth indication is updated with a maximum-depth pointer 8 of the indicator 31. Then, the water-depth measurement is continued. |
