PURPOSE:To improve the focus precision in power variation even if the zooming power becomes large. CONSTITUTION:A stepping operation motor 127 is used as the driving source for a power varying lens 102 and the position of the power varying lens 102 is detected from the stepping state of the motor 127; and plural specific positions which differ in interval with the focal length are detected and the movement positions of a focus compensating lens 105 at the specific positions are found from a memory means to control the movement of the focus compensating lens, thereby accurately moving the focus compensating lens 105 during the power variation. |
