A method of lubrication with semi-liquid lubricant of toothed gears, particularly of open gears, characterised in that the gear is supplied with lubricant-air mixture, however, stream of lubricant is mixed with stream of air before lubricant supplying pump, whereas the content of the air-lubricant mixture is determined by regulation of the size of air stream sucked by the lubricant pump, also the air-lubricant mixture is produced periodically in automatically regulated cycles.
