<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a BPR processing apparatus, which can utilize BP (burnable poison) as solidifying agent and the like for radioactive waste again and can decrease the total amount of the waste of the BPR. CONSTITUTION:A BPR 1 is conveyed into a processing box 3 from a substitution box 2. A coated pipe 12 is disassembled with an end-part cutting device 8 and a coated-pipe longitudinally-cutting device 11. The coated pipe 12 is further recovered into a box 16 through a rolling mill 14 and a cutter. The BP sealed in the coated pipe 12 is crushed with a crusher 19 and a pulverizer 20 and recovered into a box 21 in the powder state. The tritium generated in the BP is captured with a device 6 as UT3 and the like and recovered into a cylinder 35. Each operation is performed in an Ar-atmosphere.</p> |
