PURPOSE:To make uniform temperature in a cell, stabilize the cell performance and prolong life by installing a diffusion partitioning wall in parallel to the inner wall of a regenerator and gradually supplying raw gas into the regenerator, passing through a passage formed between the inner wall and the diffusion partitioning wall. CONSTITUTION:A diffusion partitioning wall 11 consisting of a mesh metal screen is installed in parallel to the inner wall on a manifold 7 side for discharging the oxidizing agent gas in a regenerating unit chamber 2a formed in the regenerating unit 2 of a cell stuck 1. The raw material gas A supplied from a raw gas introducing pipe 8 is diffused into the chamber 2a, passing through the diffusion wall 11, during the passing in a passage 12 formed between the inner wall of the chamber 2a and the diffusion wall 11. The diffused gas A is regenerated by a regenerating catalyst. With this constitution, the gas A can be supplied uniformly to the chamber 2a, and the temperature in the cell plane can be made uniform, and the battery performance is improved. |
