<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the communication errors that are caused by the difference of communication conditions by automatically deciding the presence or absence of a parity bit as well as the 1-byte bit length of the Baud rate of the received data and then securing the coincidence between the communication conditions of the transmission and reception sides. CONSTITUTION:The date (a) which are serially transmitted from a host computer are inputted to a rise detector 1 and a fall detector 2. Both detectors 1 and 2 actuate the flip-flops 3 and 4 connected in parallel to each other with the outputs (b) and (c). The flip-flop 3 inputs the output (d) similar to the data (a) into a buffer area of a CPU 5. The CPU 5 calculates a Baud rate with the set interruption frequency and generates the subsequent data from the received data based on the Baud rate. Based on the generated data, the presence or absence is decided for a parity bit and the number of 1-byte bits is decided. Thereafter the data are received based on the decided Baud rate, the word length, and the presence or absence of the parity bit.</p> |
