<p>PURPOSE:To attain the effective use of the resources without deteriorating the service properties of a packet switchboard in regard of an unused resources release system for the packet switchboard. CONSTITUTION:A non-use monitoring means 101 monitors the using state of the resources like the communication channels used for the packet communication which are occupied by the calls under being set and then detects the resources that are not used for a prescribed time or longer. A congestion deciding means 102 monitors whether a packet switchboard is set in a congestion state or not when the unused resources are detected. Then a resources releasing means 103 releases the unused resources when the congestion state of the packet switchboard is decided. Furthermore the means 101 can set the time when the unused state of the resources is decided in accordance with a terminal stored in the packet switchboard.</p> |
