PURPOSE:To provide the image forming device which can suppress the vibration of an image carrying member and can suppress noises to a lower level even if the frequency of the AC voltage impressed to an electrifying member is set high. CONSTITUTION:This image forming device has a contact electrifying device for electrifying the surface of a cylindrical photosensitive drum (image carrying member) to a prescribed potential by pressing the electrifying roller (electrifying member) to the surface of the photosensitive drum and impressing the voltage to the electrifying roller. A weight member 20 constituted by dispersing lumps 21 heavier than an elastic member 22 which is heavier than the above-mentioned photosensitive drum and has 10 to 40 deg. hardness specified in Japanese Industrial Standards(JIS) into the elastic member 22 is included into the photosensitive drum. The weight and rigidity of the photosensitive drum are increased by the weight member 20 included in the photosensitive drum and, therefore, the natural frequency of the photosensitive drum is increased and the resonance thereof is suppressed. The noises are thus suppressed to the lower level even if the frequency of the AC voltage impressed to the electrifying roller is set high. |
