The bearer element has a plate of supportable insulating material. On the side edges of the plate are fitted strips of heat and cold-insulating flexible soft foam. A bearer plate of rigid plastic or metal plate is fitted on one side of at least one plate of supportable insulating material and covers the strips of soft foam. The side of the bearer element opposite to the bearer plate is provided for location on the outer wall of channels, containers or pipes. The bearer element plate of supportable insulating material is made of polyurethane hard foam or polystyrene foam. To each of such plates a separate bearer plate is provided. Alternatively, several such plates have a common bearer plate which covers the strips of flexible soft foam. USE/ADVANTAGE - A bearer element for heat and cold insulating support or suspension of channels, containers or large-dimensioned pipes which have flat or curved outer walls.
