The lifting equipment has a drive unit in connection with the lower fork support. The electric motor (2) is connected to the drive gears (4) through the gearbox (3). The lower fork support (9,10) is connected to the chains (5,6) through the swivelling rocker (8,29), which is mounted between the prongs (12,13) of the fork (9). The rocker is a two-arm lever with the chains engaging its opposing ends and forms a swivel with the lower fork support. The yoke (17) of the fork (9) determines the swivel range of the rocker with a limiting mass for preventing contact with the chains. USE/ADVANTAGE - For power driven hoists,with small distance between drive set an lower fork, enabling one chain to take up the load should the other one break.
