Vehicle generator regulator - has sensor to measure terminal voltage and closed loop voltage P.I. control with speed-dependent feedback gain
摘要
The voltage of the generator is controlled via a terminal voltage sensor connected to a closed loop control circuit, which maintains the generator terminal voltage at its set-point by changing the feedback amplification factor, taking into account the generator's speed-current characteristic. The amplification factor contains a proportional and an integral component, and is changed depending on generator speed or generated current, which is higher for higher speeds/currents and lower for lower speeds/currents. It is also higher for higher field currents. The set point voltage is lower for higher intake air temperatures. ADVANTAGE - High efficiency and stability.
