The microswitch has several individual microswitches combined to form a multiple switch in a flat housing. The switch is actuable by a piston which projects from one of the small sides of the housing. Switch terminals (27,27a,27b) extend through a main side, the base, (5) of the housing. The terminals (27a) of a second switch (2) are arranged opposite the terminals (27) of the first switch (1) and are longer. The housings of the two switches are combined into a multiple switch. The longer terminals run through conduits in the first housing and project from its outside. The leads to the switch contacts in the individual switch planes have different lengths so that the terminals for all the contacts can be fed out from one side of the multiple switch.
