The plate (4) covers the gap between the roof leading edge and a fixed or folding windscreen frame (2). On the underside (9) of the plate, a fixing device (5,10,11) clamps onto the leading edge (12) of the roof (3). The device is L-shaped and of elastic plastics. The device is arranged to screw into a tube fixed to the plate, allowing height adjustment. Alternatively there is a tension spring acting between device and tube. There are either three devices evenly spaced along the plate underside, or a single one extending for its full length. ADVANTAGE - Low cost, easy fitting and removal, and requires no alternations to roof itself.
