The main frame extends from the saddle support (13) to the front fork support (12). The frame is made from metal tubes and the cross-sectional shape is varied along the length of the frame to strengthen it for the different stresses along the length. The strongest shape is derived using four grooves to form a cross pattern. The front fork fitting has a support sleeve (12) attached to a flattened end of the main frame by a slot and weld fitting. The crank support is welded to the bottom of the main frame curve. USE/ADVANTAGE - For bicycles and tricycles,with lightweight design for sufficient load-bearing capacity.
