<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a light, thin, compact, and easily operatable backlight type digitizer by arranging a photoconductive plate and a light source in parallel and mounting a coordinate detecting tablet on the photoconductive plate. CONSTITUTION:The photoconductive plate 8 is arranged under the tablet 3 and the light source 5 is arranged in the thickness direction of the photoconductive plate 8, i.e. in parallel with the plate 8. On the other hand, a diffusion plate 9 is arranged on the upper side of the tablet 3. Light radiated from the light source 5 arranged in parallel with the plate 8 is transmitted through the plate 8, the tablet 3 and the plate 9 to irradiate paper set up on the plate 9 with the radiated light from its back. Thus, the light, thin, compact, and easily operable backlight type digitizer is constituted.</p> |
