The positions of moulds, lining parts and reinforcements are marked on a moulding base (1) with a stream of very fine sand released from a nozzle (4) when a needle is moved by energisation of an electromagnet coil. The nozzle is displaced in the x direction by movement of the gantry (2) along which the working head (3) supporting the nozzle moves in the y direction under the control of positional data stored in the memory of the process computer. ADVANTAGE - Plotter is simplified and visible surfaces of concrete are not discoloured.
