Access to screws 13 securing a modular clutch assembly to a crankshaft 13 is facilitated by providing aligned holes 17 and 18 in the clutch plate and the diaphragm spring 11 respectively. The cover 5 of the assembly is integrally secured to the flywheel 3 and the plate 14 is released to allow its rotation by various screw devices, (Figs 3-6 and 9-11) or by a levering operation (Figs 7 and 8) so that the holes 17 are correctly aligned for access by a tool 53. <IMAGE> |
