PURPOSE:To enhance the preservability of an image and discoloration/fading resistance by constituting the title transfer sheet of a base material sheet and the dye support layer formed on one surface of said base material sheet and specifying the dye contained in the dye support layer. CONSTITUTION:The dye contained in a dye support layer is represented by formula (I) (wherein R1 is a hydrogen atom, a same or different substituted or non-substituted alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an aralkyl group or an aryl group and may form a 5- or 6-membered ring along with X, R2 is an electron withdrawing group, X is a hydrogen, a same or different halogen atom, a substituted or non-substituted alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an alkoxy group, an aralkyl group, an acylamino group, a sulfonylamino group, an ureido group or a carbamoyl group, Y is a divalent bonding group and n is 1 or 2). The dye support layer is formed by adding a dye, a binder resin and other arbitrary components to a proper solvent to dissolve or disperse the same in said solvent to prepare a support layer forming coating solution or ink and applying said solution or ink to a base material sheet to dry the coating layer. |
