摘要 PURPOSE:To maintain an arrival distance of air at a constant value despite of a change in a discharge blow rate and to provide comfortable indoor temperature distribution by a method wherein the number of revolutions of an electric motor for blast in an indoor machine is detected, and from a detected result, a time of energization to a motor for a shutter is computed to change the opening area of a discharge port. CONSTITUTION:In an air conditioner being of an embedded-in-ceiling type, indoor air sucked through a suction port 22 through rotation of a fan 21 with the aid of a motor 6 is subjected to heat exchange during the passage of it through a heat exchanger 23, and returned in a room again. In this case, a shutter 26 to change the opening area of the discharge port 25 is arranged to the inner side of the discharge port 25 and opened and closed by a drive mechanism 28, comprising a cam and an arm, through running of a motor 11 for a shutter. In control of the motor 11, the number of revolutions of a motor 6 for a fan is detected by a number of revolutions detecting means. Based on the detected number of revolutions, a time of energization to the motor 11 for a shutter is computed, and the motor 11 is run and controlled through a drive circuit according to the computed result.
