PURPOSE:To obtain the subject rat having a stabilized shape having induction of dwarfishness by artificial operation by transducing a specific adventitious gene to cells having animal totipotency. CONSTITUTION:A recombinant gene having a gene suppressing formation and secretion of growth hormone of endogenous rat, such as gene containing anti- sense DNA of RAT, under control of a promoter sequence to specifically develop tissue in anterior lobe of hypophysis, wherein four copies of a sequence containing thyroid hormone sensitive range having an enhancer activity are added to the promoter, is transduced as a galed gene to cells having animal totipotency such as cells of rat reproductive series to give the objective rat. |
