<p>PURPOSE:To remove artifacts and to measure pulse rates with high accuracy by calculating the weight average signal of plural kinds of pulse wave signals, subtracting the weight average signal from the respective pulse wave signals to correct respective pulse waves and calculating the pulse rate in accordance with the corrected pulse wave signals. CONSTITUTION:The pulse rate measuring instrument measures the pulse rate in accordance with plural kinds of the pulse wave signals outputted from a tonometer sensor. The weight average signal of the respective pulse wave signals is calculated means in accordance with a predetermined weighting coefft. in such a case. The weight average signal is subtracted from the respective pulse wave signals and the respective pulse wave signals are corrected by a pulse wave signal correcting means. Further, the pulse rate is calculated by a pulse rate calculating means in accordance with the corrected pulse wave signals. The calculated pulse rate is displayed by a display means. As a result, noises and motion artifacts are removed and the high precision pulse rate is obtd.</p> |
