CONSTITUTION:When roll crossing angles are changed from thetaA to thetaB, a work roll shift quantity is changed from delta1 to delta2 and a roll crossing angle on an optimum curved line RA' showing a relation of the roll crossing angle to a preceding coil A versus a work roll bending force, a roll crossing angle on an optimum curved line RB' showing a relation of the roll crossing angle to a succeeding coil B versus a work roll bending force from the work roll bending angle, the work roll bending force is changed by patterns such as FA FA' FB ' FB so that the work roll bending force is moved in the shortest time.
