PURPOSE:To provide excellent detachability by constituting a speed change gear of a friction type continuously variable transmission unit (CVT unit) and a transmission gear unit comprising a normal/reverse rotation change-over mechanism set in a transmission case, connected to each other as to be detachable through only simple work of attachment or detachment of cases of the units to or from each other. CONSTITUTION:A CVT unit A is equipped with a friction type continuously variable transmission unit 4 comprising plural taper cones 2 driven to revolve round a main shaft 1 and set around the main shaft 1, and a ring-shaped speed change member 3 which can be shifted along the shaft center, circumscribed on the plural taper cones 2, and an output rotor 5 is set as a cylinder shaft relatively-rotatably fitted on the outer surface of the main shaft 1. A transmission gear unit B comprises a normal/reverse rotation change-over mechanism 14 for deriving either normal or reverse rotation of a cylinder speed change rotor 13 freely, set in a transmission case 15. The speed change rotor 13 can be interlocked and connected to the output rotor 5, and relatively-rotatably fitted on the outer surface of a power transmission shaft 12 which can be interlocked and connected to the main shaft 1. The transmission gear unit B can be detached from the CVT unit A freely by detachably connecting a transmission case 24 of the CVT unit A and a transmission case 15 of the unit B with each other with bolts.
