PREPARATION METHOD OF CERAMIC BRICK

lightweight ceramic brick having 0.08-1.5 mm micropore, 0.3-0.9 g/cm3 bulk density and 5-30 kg/cm2 compressive strength is produced by foaming a slurry as a ceramic raw material with a foaming agent, mixing the foamed material with a viscosity- controlling agent and strength-promoting agent, and molding, drying and firing the mixt. The slurry has 7-14 of hydrogen- ion concentration coefficient. The ceramic brick is used as a furnace material and low-temp. plant material.
