PURPOSE:To provide an instrument panel with which design of appearance is improved, and further assembling workability, profitability, and lightweight- orientation of a vehicle body can be remarkably improved by removing steering members on the front passenger's set side or making them into small size. CONSTITUTION:In an instrument panel 21 formed in one body with an instrument panel core material 22, an outer skin 24, and a foaming layer 23 arranged between the core material 22 and the outer skin 24, a thin wall hinge part 32 and a thin wall fragile part 26 definedly forming an air bag lid 33 part are formed on a part of the core material 22. Further, a lower instrument panel member 27 positioned on the back side of the instrument panel 21 is provided, and an air bag case 30 storing an air bag unit 29 is fitted between the instrument panel 21 and the lower instrument panel member 27. |
