PURPOSE:To remove nitrogen compounds and phosphorus compounds as well as BOD components from waste water by adding a dephosphorization flocculant to the waste water to form phosphorus contg. in the procees wherein an anaerobic disposing process and an aerobic disposing process are successively provided. flocculated flocs. CONSTITUTION:Waste water is fed to a flocculant mixing tank 1 by a waste water feed pipe 11 and a dephosphorization flocculant is added and simultaneously a high polymer flocculant is added, if necessary, to form and grow phosphorus contg. flocculated flocs. Then the liquid is introduced from a mixed liquid pipe 14 to an anaerobic tank 2, and BOD components, nitrate and nitrite are given anaerobic biodegradation to generate gas. Next, ammonium compounds and BOD compound contg. anaerobically treated clarified liquid from the anaerobic tank 2 is introduced to an aerobic tank 3 and they are biologically oxidized to turn them into nitrate and nitrite and carbon dioxide, and a part of nitrate and nitrite contg. aerobically disposed water is circulated through the anaerobic tank 2 while solid matter (excess sludge) in the tanks 2, 3 is discharged to a solid matter storage tank 4. |
