PURPOSE: To obtain an impact igniter for gas generator employing a spark technology in which high tolerance is not required for structure or assembly in the safety belt system of automobile. CONSTITUTION: A gas generator 36 has a housing provided with a guide hole and an impact transmission element, e.g. a bass 22 or a pin, is received therein. Inner end thereof faces the impact face of a priming powder cap 18 in the gas generator 36 and the outer end thereof projects from the guidehole. |
