<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of dead space where liquid remains near the lower part of the diffusing appliance by installing a diffusing appliance discharging bubbles into liquid in the lower part of a vessel and vertically installing flow guide plates with their lower part allowed to come near the bottom face of the vessel on both sides of the diffusing appliance. CONSTITUTION:A diffusing pipe 2 is arranged in a purifying tank 1 on the inner bottom side. When air supplied through an air pipe 3 from the diffusing pipe 2 is discharged as bubbles into sewage water W in the purifying tank 1, convection as shown by an arrow A is generated in the sewage water W to purify it by aeration. In this case, flow guide plates 4, 4 formed in the shape of a plate are vertically installed with their lower end allowed to come near the bottom face of the tank on both sides of the diffusing pipe 2. The distance B between the flow guide pipe 4 and the tank bottom face is set at about 5-20cm. Thereby, when air is discharged from the diffusing pipe 2, convection is generated through the clearance B between the lower end of the flow guide plate 4 and the tank bottom face and dead space is not caused near the lower part of the diffusing pipe 2.</p> |
