PURPOSE:To enable only a fast cooling or a rapid defreezing to be carried out at a storing chamber within a refrigerator chamber. CONSTITUTION:When a freezing chamber cooling fan 10 or both the freezing chamber cooling fan 10 and a cooling device 14 are operated, cold air is fed into a cold air feeding passage 3. When a cold air damper 5 and a cold air return damper 25 are opened and a through-flow fan 7 is rotated, cold air from the cold air feeding passage 3 is flowed from the cold air feeding passage 3 into a storing chamber 6 through.a cold air feeding port 4a and is returned to the cold air feeding passage 3 through a passage 24 and a cold air return passage 23. When the cold air damper 5 and the cold air return damper 25 are closed and the through-flow fan 7 and a defreezing heating heater 19 are operated, the hot air heated by a defreezing heating heater 19 passes through a ceiling duct 16, the through-pass fan 7 and the storing chamber 6 and then a rapid defreezing is carried out at the storing chamber 6. When the fast cooling is carried out at the storing chamber 6, the cold air is not leaked out of the storing chamber 6 into the storing chamber 2 and the freezing of the food within the refrigerator chamber 2 can be prevented. |
