PURPOSE:To provide an instrument panel with which productivity and profitability of the instrument panel are improved having an air bag lid part. CONSTITUTION:In an instrument panel 21 formed in one body with an instrument panel core material 22, an outer skin 24, and a foaming layer 23 arranged between the core material 22 and the outer skin 24, a circular cutout groove 26 for breakage opposite to the fitting position of an air bag unit is provided extending over the core material, the foaming layer, and the back of the outer skin. Together with this, an air bag lid part and the core material surrounding it are combined and held with each other through a hinge 28 and a plate 29 and the like riding over the cutout groove, hence existence of the air bag lid can not be seen in appearance so as to improve the design of appearance, assembling workability and profitability can be remarkably improved by curtailment of the number of components, and the air bag lid part can be extremely easily made by after working. |
