<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently separate and collect platelets of thrombocytopenic plasma, blood platelets or the like by connecting a separation bag for blood leukocytes and the like or blood platelets to a buffy coat separating bag connected to a blood collecting bag, and concurrently connecting both a separating bag in which preserving solution of erythrocytes is sealed and a plasma separation bag to connecting tubes between the two separating bags. CONSTITUTION:A buffy coat separation bag 3 is connected to a blood collecting bag 2 via connecting tubes 13 and 19 and a connecting pipe 14, and a leukocyte separation bag 6 or a blood platelet separation bag is connected to the separation bag 3 via a connecting tube 21. A separation bag 4 in which red blood cell preserving solution is sealed, is connected to the connecting pipe 14 via connecting tubes 15 and 17 and a connecting pipe 16, and concurrently connection to a plasma separation bag 5 is made via a connecting tube 18. A blood collecting bag in which whole blood is housed, is processed by means of centrifugal separation to collect the buffy coat layer in the separation bag 3, and the layer thus collected is processed by means of centrifugal separation, so that it is separated into leukocytes, erythrocytes, and the condensed blood platelet layer.</p> |
