PURPOSE:To enhance the retentivity of a core substance or production efficiency in low viscosity by dispersing the core substance containing a polymerizable compd. in an aqueous medium containing a water-soluble polymer having a plurality of specific repeating units in an oil droplet state and forming a specific resin wall on the periphery of an oil droplet. CONSTITUTION:In producing a microcapsule, an aqueous medium containing a water-soluble polymer having at least a repeating unit having an anionic group and a repeating unit represented by formula (wherein R<1> is hydrogen or a 1-6C alkyl group, L is a divalent org. bonding group, A is a divalent org. bonding group derived from a polymerizable monomer unit, (n) is an average polymerization degree of 2 or more and Y is a monovalent org. bonding group) by at least each one kind is prepared at first. Next, a core substance containing at least a polymerizable compd. is dispersed in the aqueous medium in an oil droplet state and a resin wall composed of an aminoaldehyde resin is formed on the periphery of an oil droplet. By this method, the retentivity of the core substance and production efficiency are enhanced. |
