PURPOSE:To obtain an accurate and actual speed of a vehicle by correcting the vehicle speed according to speed information which is obtained by receiving radio waves from an artificial satellite. CONSTITUTION:The current speed of a vehicle is measured by providing a satellite utilization speed recognition device 4, receiving radio waves from an artificial satellite, and using a satellite utilization position-measuring means 5. The current speed of a vehicle is recognized by a current speed recognition means 6 based on the measurement data. Then, when the deterioration coefficient of radio waves which is received from the artificially satellite is equal to or more than a specified value or electric field strength is equal to or less than a specified value, current speed recognition is prohibited by a speed recognition prohibition means 8. Then, the actual speed is obtained by correcting the vehicle speed which is obtained by a vehicle speed sensor 1 according to speed information of vehicle which is obtained by receiving radio waves from the artificial satellite by a compensation operation device 9. |
