摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To maintain good acceleration feeling at the time of stepping down an accelerator pedal by correcting and enlarging a basic road surface friction factor inferred on the basis of the peripheral speed of a driven wheel, according to the duration of state where a peripheral speed difference between the driving and driven wheels is less than the predetermined value. CONSTITUTION:A surface friction factor setting means 3 sets the friction factor of a road surface where the wheels of a vehicle come in contact. Also, a target slip value is set with a target slip value setting means 4 on the basis of the surface friction factor set with the means 3. Furthermore, the slip of the driving wheels of a vehicle relative to a road is detected with a slip detection means 5. On the other hand, a driving torque control means 7 performs torque control for the driving wheels. Also traction control operation is performed with an operation control means 6, so that the detected slip will be equal to the target slip value. In this case, the means 3 infers a basic surface friction factor on the basis of the peripheral speed of driven wheels. Also, the friction factor is corrected for an increase, according to the duration of state where each peripheral speed difference between the driving and driven wheels is less than the prescribed value.</p>
