PURPOSE: To obtain a reusable lithographic printing plate by fusing a printing image deposit on the surface of a lithographic printing element and then by removing the printing image deposit from the surface at the end of the printing process. CONSTITUTION: A printing image deposit 2 is formed on the surface of a hydrophilic printing plate 1 by an ink jet method using the ink for ink jet containing a heat fusible component, the printing image deposit 2 is fused on the surface of the printing plate 1 by using an electrode 4, and the desired number of copies of the image deposit fused on the surface of the printing plate 1 is printed by lithography. Then, the printing image deposit 2 is removed from the surface of the printing plate 1 by using the electrode 4 at a higher energy level. In this way, more effective fusinon of the printing image deposit can be caused, the use of a solvent or an abrasive in the removal of the image deposit can be dispensed with, and no effect is given on the reuse of the lithographic printing plate. |
