PURPOSE:To obtain a detergent composition which is excellent in foaming power and detergency and mild to the skin or hair by mixing a specified anionic surfactant, a specified taurate anionic surfactant and a specified amidoamine amphoteric surfactant. CONSTITUTION:The title composition is obtained by mixing an anionic surfactant comprising N-polyoxyethylene higher fatty acid amide ether sulfate of formula I (wherein R is 7-11C alkyl or alkenyl; M is an alkali metal or an alkanolamine; and n is an integer of 2-5) with a taurate anionic surfactant of formula II (wherein R is 7-19C alkyl or alkenyl; and M is an alkali metal, ammonium or an alkanolamine) and at least one amidoamine amphoteric surfactant of formula III or IV (wherein R1 and R3 are each 7-19C alkyl or alkenyl; R2 and R4 are each -CH2COOM or the like; R5 is hydrogen, -CH2COOM or the like; and M is hydrogen, an alkali metal or the like). |
