PURPOSE:To reduce the cost for manufacturing shafts through permitting a single shaft to work both as a truing grinding wheel shaft and work rotating shaft, suppressing the space for one shaft in a grinder machine, omitting mounting and dismantle of a truing device shorten the time for operation, and preclude the truing grinding wheel from deflective swings in association with mounting of the truing device. CONSTITUTION:A truing grinding wheel shaft 6 is fitted with a truing diamond 5 in cup form which serves as a tool to process a diamond grinding wheel to be trued 2. When a work 3 is to be ground after the end of the truing process, a work mounting table 4 on which the work 3 is held, is mounted on the truing grinding wheel shaft 6 on the inside of the truing grinding wheel 5. The surface to which the work 3 on the table 4 is mounted is of a structure protruding from the processing surface of the truing 5. Accordingly the processing surface of the grinding wheel when it grinds the work does not touch the processing surface of the truing grinding wheel. |
